Earning the Title: Becoming a Kingdom Man

Today is Day 3: The Kingdom Man in Action

Ezekiel 22:30 NIV, “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” God has a clear standard for men; one thing God never does is lower the bar, even for his son. Jesus is the gold standard (Luke 17:21). The very definition of a Kingdom man.

What we see model in the life of Jesus allowed him to fulfill his calling as the “Son of Man” given to him by his Father. If Jesus didn’t submit to his Father’s will and live a life of commitment to the Kingdom, there would be no hope for us as he could never fulfill his purpose. As men, God places a tremendous amount of responsibility. We must live a life of distinction, given the stakes.

Ten Attributes of a Kingdom Man:

1.) A kingdom man has a passion for Jesus. He loves what Jesus loves and hates what Jesus hates.

2.) A kingdom man follows Jesus’ path no matter where it leads.

3.) A kingdom man shepherds his family physically, mentally, and spiritually.

4.) A kingdom man is a man of prayer.

5.) A kingdom man lives by faith, not out of fear.

6.) A kingdom man serves his community.

7.) A kingdom man lives with integrity.

8.) A kingdom man submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

9.) A kingdom man is diligent.

10.) A kingdom man is guided by the Holy Spirit.

The cry from the world for men to be all that Jesus calls and enables us to be is clear. However, the choice is with each man who calls himself a follower of Jesus.

I challenge each man who reads this post to commit to being a Kingdom man and let’s start changing family, friends, and our communities’ destinies.
